I get the hype around beaches like La Jolla, Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, etc. They’re fun and there’s always something exciting happening, you’ll never be bored there! But sometimes, a more quiet and relaxing day sounds amazing too.
There’s a beach in Encinitas called Moonlight Beach and it is just that, relaxing. Yeah, there’s people having picnics, surfing, playing volleyball, having bonfires (you name it) but there’s something about this beach that just relaxes you.With the waves ranging from relaxed to not-so-relaxed, surfers of every skill come out here while families hang out on the shore or play in the water.
It’s crazy that a beach can be loud but so quiet at the same time, it’s the perfect Sunday vibe!
There’s also so many places to eat nearby if you’re not up for the work behind setting up a picnic. There aretacos, coffee, pizza, ice cream, and everything/anything else you’re craving! What’s better than walking/relaxing on the beach after enjoying some great food? (Probably not much!)
