I was always funny it seems. My mom used to tell me I was funny, even though I wasn’t trying to be funny.
At school, I think I’m considered funny. But, I’m not the class clown. There’s a difference, don’t you know?
I’m actually shy. I’m funny only around the people I feel comfortable with.
For instance, when stuff happens to me, I try and make it funny. Laughing is fun. So, I make it sound more “dramatic” than it probably was. Usually 😊 not always.
Here’s the hard part. I want to be part of our movement to help save and protect the ocean, dolphins, sea turtles, whales, sea otters, and other marine animals. We came up with this idea of encouraging teens to have fun at the beach: The Original Surfers.
We’re using social media – Instagram, TikTok, YouTube. It means making videos.
Did I mention I have stage fright? Not good, when you have to be in videos.
When you have stage fright and you’re shy, sometimes being funny, isn’t so funny.
