Teens having fun at the beach – The Original Surfers style
Here at The Original Surfers we’re all about bringing you fun and exciting stuff. You know us. We’re all about teens having fun at the beach. Because if teens love the beach like we do, then they’ll fight to protect it.
So, let’s go in a different direction today. Let’s go north. Way North actually.
Where The Original Surfers has never gone before.
Cold.
Really cold.
No, not 53 degree water that was record cold water this past few months in San Diego. And, I’ll tell you, that is COLD.
Nope, we’re talking Artic cold. Alaska cold.
So what am I talking about?
Surfing a glacier isn’t easy peazy
I’m talking about a huge piece of glacier calving off and starting a mini-tsunami and riding those waves.
Don’t think this is easy. Because it’s not. Not even close.
You have to wait for days for the perfect moment.
But, there is is. A glacier calving, forming a huge wave.
And being there, at just the right time. Ready. To surf.
Awesome.

Surfing a glacier isn’t a walk in the park..
This isn’t going to be a freaking walk in the park…. Piece of cake. No problemo.
Not.
Just to be sure – you have to go to the Artic. With a kick-butt wetsuit. And a surfboard. Don’t forget your botties and hood.
Then you have to find a 400 foot wall of it to calve. Then find a place that happens to be across from it, that will break like a point. Left or right.
Really?
Like I said, this stuff ain’t easy. It’s not like showing up in Hawaii and renting a surfboard from the local beach boys.
And you have to be willing to surf around serious chunks of ice. Don’t miss the link. You’ll see dude paddling in ice filled waters and surfing around huge chunks of ice. Serious stuff, I’d say.
